COOL CLICK tybeeezy! but u have to consider arguing for both sides...... Boxing would def be more action packed and brutal and like you said resembling more so the lieks of the UFC, MMA etc. but even so i see refs waiving off UFC and MMA fights soon as they see the fighter is taking too many haymakers or flurries or if he cant lift himself up off the ground. DEMPSEY and company during his era beat the beejezus out of their opponents even if they were still on the ground or trying to climb up the ropes back to their feet. it was amazing to see how much MORE of a beatdown those fighters took and dished out back then. makes you wonder truly just how many of our champs today would even survive back then?
I dont think that there are a lot of fighters today that would still be boxing if those rules were still in effect.
