If the best fighters are constantly fighting each other they will have wins and losses. JLC has several losses on his record, and he is an outstanding fighter. To every undefeated fighter out there I say one thing.....

Your beating is coming.....

Don't know who is gonna give it, but it's coming unless you quit before you get it, or don't fight competitive fighters. If you stay in the top levels and fight the best you will lose. Look at Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, Duran, they all traded losses to one another. I don't lose any respect for a fighter that takes a loss, only fighters that don't take the risk.
duran had already proven his worth though and had moved up alot from his natrual weight hearns hit like stone and was too tall and too strong thats it

difference is theres still questions on hatton and is unproven against top boys like corrales and castillo mayweather ect im not saying kostya wasnt top level but i think he will get alot more credit for corrales win or castillo win and if he beats mayweather which i think he wont his damn legend period

and duran before hearns fight had gone 15 rounds against one of best middleweights of all time and only losing close decision plus his career went on hell of alot longer difference is with ricky is that he has only got about 4 fights left so if he loses to castillo that quickly no one will be interested in him really and his career will be over
Interesting comments. I wasn't comparing Hatton to Duran. Just saying in general fighters lose and it doesn't subtract what they did previously. Who cares if someone loses, styles make fights, everyone has bad days, etc.... It is the consistency that matters. James Toney had times when he didn't fight good. People said he was shot, it was just his motivation. Fighters go through that, JLC isn't shot and whoever wins this fight it doesn't make or break their career. You can lose and move on and stay in the top ranks. When you lose consistently, that's a different story.
