Definitions of racism and the way in which people percieve it change from generation to generation, that definition was written in the context of that time. If it was so racist, surely someone would be pressing allegations and the police would have launched an enquiry, whereas the simple truth is that they are light-hearted, purposefuly controversial comments with a racial undertone, not specifically racist.
