I have never had trouble landing four straits in sparring.. I tend to bend my knee's and come up with the strait rights though..and its pretty speedy to so im not to bad... Have to move forward with the punches though..Bck em up..

I understand though.. More then three punches are hard to get off..
But i tend to lean in with jabs or fients to set up the combo im really looking for..

In example.. I'll feint step forward.. Back onto the ball of the right foot..And the push of with a strait left uppercut.. To lift the chin and follow through with the right hand..
( If you dont catch my drift about the uppercut..Its basically a jab thrown with your fist faced like an uppercut.. but strait and fast like a jab to the chin..For the sole purpose of lifting the chin and following through with a right hand..)

And the step in with a quick jab so that my wieght is very briefly on the front foot push back onto my back foot and whether they have thrown or have opted not to..Soon after there can usually come the opportunity to push of the back foot in with a speedy one two..One two three or one two left hook if im lucky...

Peace
nice lil thing to bad thigs dnt work out the way u want them to and combos getintuupted by counters and the oher guys movement
