You know how tito was pretty much always a real nice guy but he would always bang other peoples gloves hard when they touched up before the fight to get em riled up...
I remember tito said something to vargas with real conviction as they walked back to theyr corners..

But if im honest i never saw any of the build up to tito - vargas all i know is that tito kept calling him a baby ..lol
But you know me..I'll argue about just about anything but if i dont know about it i keep my mouth shut lol :P

Vargas was all worked up about how DLH had run against Tito. His line for his fight with Tito was: "This Mexican won't run." (That's probably how the bad blood between him and DLH started, as a matter of fact). Anyway, the entrances into the fight were telling. Tito came in smiling, waving to people... his usual self. Vargas came in knocking down blocks.... fire coming out of the ground, the works. But that wasn't really it. I don't know if you noticed, but when Tito and Vargas were getting their instructions in the middle of the ring, Vargas turned his head to get a swig of water from his trainer. When he turned back toward Tito, he did it so forcefully and got so close to Tito's face, I thought for a minute he was going to spit the water in Tito's face.

I'd already seen Vargas in his previous fights, and he was a cocky son of a bitch. He had that "face." Add to that the traditional Puerto Rican - Mexican rivalry for these big fights, and you can see why all of P.R. went wild when Tito KO'd Vargas.

You know what makes me laugh my a** off..When buffer introduces vargas and he has all his esse's behind him jumping about and fernando is jumping on the spot..Just the funniest most random crap ive ever seen!!
Do you speak spanish titofan?.. Cos ive always wondered what tito told vargas when they turned to go back to theyr corners for the start of the fight?!

Naw bro, I don't remember. But I got the fight taped somewhere. I'm gonna dig it up, watch it again, and see if I can tell what Tito said. Knowing Tito, it probably wasn't anything insulting or anything like that...... but seeing that smile on Tito's face, knowing what was coming, is scarier than any foam blocks or fire coming out of the ground.
