People forget with the much bigger gloves nowadays its way harder to knock out a guy than when Robinson fought with 4-6oz. gloves which were basically MMA gloves or the equivalent. Even so back in the day people like Floyd or Roy would have been held on top of the world for their supreme talent while today they are boo'ed for not being "Gutsy" enough. I just feel people today not just in boxing like more violence, and less of the actual sport... I remember when people were saying Hockey would be ruined without the fighting, and there is now way more fighting in basketball and football then there was 10-15 years ago.

yeah but in the golden days of football late 70's early 80's , they would empty the bench .. there were many of fights in the center of the football field .. and back then you could put the Quarterbacks flat on his ass without getting penalized ! QB's are babied now days !
