I think defense can be a very exciting part of boxing.
Not sure about it being eaiser to knock people out in the old days though. Personally I think fighters were much tougher back then. They would keep getting up regardless and depending how far back you go could keep going for 20, 30 40 rounds or more.
I can't see many of todays fighters managing that.
Confuse and bedazzle Baldomir? He just got out of the way with his quickness, I am surprised you enjoyed a fight with 12 almost identical rounds.......that does take some effort

Of course it WAS easier to knock someone out wearing lighter (therefore less padded) gloves but that would f*ck Floyd up due to a much greater chance of nail breakage.
