Well,on Boxingtalk, B-Hop has finally responded to RJJ. He's basically saying that RJJ is going crazy and he's worried about the guy and thinks RJJ is homophobic. Lol. I'm a member so I can read the interview but I'm not sure if I can post it on here. Honestly, this is straight comedy. These two guys have always made me laugh when it comes to their rivarly. All the way back when RJJ was telling B-Hop "60/40 and I'll beat that ass, gimme 60/40 and that ass is mine" on HBO until now. It's got so serious that B-Hop has asked Boxingtalk members to vote in a poll asking whose legacy will go down as the best between B-Hop and RJJ. I voted for RJJ and right now the poll is 58% RJJ and 42% B-Hop. B-Hop is awesome but he should calm down with all this legacy talk, RJJ was a monster for years and even moved up all the way to heavyweight and beat a good opponent...B-Hop IMO is awesome but RJJ is close to being legendary. BTW, this is just FYI...

hopkins is out of his freaking mind if he even thinks is legecy is even close to RJJ, let alone better!

RJJ is a superstar and well respected boxer through the world, fuck all people form the UK who are big boxing fans seem to give a shit about hopkins, his career or legecy.

He will be a HoF coz of his long reign as MW champion - he damn sure took the easy option by doing it though

Jones Jr won his last fight, but against who exactly and prior to that have serious issues with achieving any level of output against Tarver in their final fight. Hopkins was always competitive against Taylor and did destroy Tarver. Hopkins would more than likely beat Jones Jr now...

good points, but some like hopkins might be enough to light a fire under roys ass to get abit of hunger back in him, he sould of quit after he beat Ruiz... As much respect i have for Johnson for the fights hes taken and places hes gone, he is not a fight i think to highly of in terms of skill, he lost to some people who can be described as good at best...

Tarver, his name got to its peak by beating and old, past it RJJ, tarver is and was fuck all, neither fighter was going to be enough to get ones fired up. Jones will never be as great as he was, no way in hell, but if he can get a bit of hunger back in him, he can beat hopkins.

posible yeah but i thought roy jones jr lost his first fight against tarver and you would think that he would get the fire in his belly for the rematch to prove otherwise but no. and then you would think he would have the fire in his belly for his next fight with glencoffe johnson but once again no. he just gets knocked out again. and then you would think he would have some fire in his belly for his third fight with tarver to prove he's not finished but once again no.
roy hasn't showed that fire in his belly for years mate and at least b-hop has shown he's got that desire. he looked awesome in his last fight and both fights with taylor were close.

lets not get confused, RJJ and B-Hop fought, RJJ beat him EASILY, in his prime he was the better fighter. Even if B-Hope knocks him out during the stare-down it doesn't change that.

And I agree, I'm a big fan of both men, but Roy Jones Junior is the most naturally gifted boxer I have ever seen, B-Hop is an all time great but Roy Jones Junior is the best.
