yeah but the scene is still a lil bit ambiguous. it appears that she got blanks, but it was never like confirmed. like the clerk never said hey those are blanks! or she never said make sure these are blanks and not real bullets.

Then in the ending where that Persian guy is sitting in the store saying that little girl was like a guardian angel preventing him from doing something horrible. She takes the gun from him and puts it in the drawer..right next to the bullet holder that has the name "Blanks" on it
