To be fair, Cotto did very well at 140 to say he was SO weight drained in so many fights, a lot of his weaknesses at 140 have disappeared at welterweight, which is a compliment, to fight so well at 140 with the weight drain shows just how talented he is.
I'm just talking about his mechanics and everything. He was just walking in straight without throwing, backing up straight without circling/punching, ect. He was really just a one dimensional fighter in that fight and I think the same about the Branco fight. He was winning big but wasn't really impressing me.

But versus Quintana it was like watching a different fighter. Instead of keeping his hands at his ears and moving in, he mixed in some straight rights coming forward, he let go the left hook pulling out and he just did the things in between fighting inside/outside. Margarito and all the other good boxers could really hurt you if you're not careful pulling out or going in. Miguel seemed to solve those problems. IMO, Cotto is now a championship caliber fighter.
