What are you really asking?? If the boxers were to fight in Pride under MMA rules?? That's what Ill assume since if you were meaning in a boxing match the question is laughable.. But yeah I don't know Ive seen a bit of him he is a beast in Pride. Aside from that it's just a totally different sport, a boxer wouldn't have the same kind of skillset if they were to fight in Pride and there's alot they wouldn't have trained for.. IMO, if some of the top boxers had trained to fight in MMA they could have been dominant, as generally I don't think MMA produces the same calibre of athletes as boxing does but that's a whole different arguement. You'd have to figure that Mike Tyson would have had a great chance to dominate had he fought in MMA in his prime, but it wasn't even really established much then... I don't think I could see that guy that's HW champ in the UFC, Tim Sylvia, knowing what the hell to do if he fought someone like Tyson.. All he really does is "strike"anyways, it's not as if his boxing skills are anywhere near thast of any real past HW great so I don't see how someone can think that a top boxer woulod just tget destryoed in MMA, there are guys fighting in MMA who really get by only with standup striking, and nowhere near the ability of many boxers. I know that Pride tends to produce better all round athletes from what Ive seen though. The UFC has some guys that are just straight terrible and watching them noone could tell me that a decent boxer couldn't train for 2 weeks and beat them in there.
