Hahahah... Im sure Ricky Hatton would really love the thought of fighting Oscar at welterweight, let alone if he beats Floyd.. hahah.

"He's like a bull, he just keeps on coming. He needs to keep on drinking those pints of Guinness, don't stop him!" OSCAR
Anyone else think that De la hoya is getting rather kinky in his old age
i think ricky would get really badly beaten boy de la hoya, as is aid befor ei think could be righting at 135 if he trained right, 140 should be his limit, oscar will make him look tiny
Hatton's a big draw.. But DLH could make an absurd amount of money fighhting anybody if he actually manages to beat Mayweather. I doubt he sees Hatton as the next biggest payday, just an easy fight for him, I dont think anyone in boxing will take this seriously most of all Hatton. I love how Oscar says he'll go down to welterweight to fight Hatton though, when he makes Floyd come up to 154.. Not that Ricky could go up higher it just shows he wanted the edge over PBF and could make welter.Originally Posted by Smashup

It'll be De La Hoya-Gatti all over again. Only I doubt Hatton makes it into the 5th round.
You mean when Hatton beats JLC....Originally Posted by Smashup
Also ODLH would be returning the favor and share a bucket or two with him.....
Not to mention give him what hes always wanted.
RECOGNITION IN THE U.S.A.
If (like odlh) states,it went off in Manchester with 22,000 pissed up Mancs screaming for Ricky then Oscar will have never faced anything like that
The power and Noise Ricky can bring to a full house at the MEN arena in Manchester should NOT be taken lightly.![]()
To bad Castillo will end all this foolish De La Hoya talk.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK

If Hatton continues fighting in his current fashion the JLC KO's Him
Needs to dump Graham imo andfast
Nah! JLC doesn't posses the same KO power he did in the lower div.Originally Posted by Smashup
IMO it didn't carry over well.....
Add to the fact that Hatton has good wiskers. and IMO JLC won't KO him.....
It's gonna be a long night....
May not come down to Hattons beard whatsoever.. Id just suffice it to say ricky hatton better prepare to actually FIGHT 12 ROUNDS this time.. he's not going to get a free ticket after the 7th or 8th round, Castillo may be on the slide but he's savvy enough to capitalize if Hatton foolishly isn't conditioned well again.. Or maybe they are just both on the slide?? Hatton hasn't exactly been too fresh in the championship rounds for his last 2 fights.. Plus Castillo does have good body work. If Urango took some of the fight out of him with a couple good shots, Castillos going to be able to do much more. I really hope both of these guys can come in better shape then they did for the last fight. And I don't want to hear anything about how Hatton is so well conditioned, maybe he can be, let's see. I just really find it hard to imagine that anyone could picture Hatton getting away with just hanging on and coasting the late rounds against Castillo..Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
