It's on there...look at the money Margarito could get

Is Margarito going to walk away from that   You think he'll get more from the Cotto fight

    Cotto just makes sense.

He wins and Floyd HAS to fight him. He loses and he lost to the most destructive force at 147.

He loses to Williams and it was "Hate to say I told you so." He wins and it's just that "Williams wasn't ready."

And monetarily, I think he gets more fighting Cotto. And if he wins he profits exponentially.

Theres no point Mayweather fighting the winner of this. He would wipe the floor with them IMO. DLH then Mosely for Mayweather.

I can't see Margarito getting more to fight Cotto. Against Williams, Margarito gets the bigger purse. That's not the case against Cotto. Margarito it seems really wants no part of Williams.

The Cotto fight would fight would be far bigger due to the whole Puerto Rico-Mexico angle, plus Cotto is becoming more and more popular and is a far more proven fighter. We shall see which fight gives Tony the most $$$ as he is supposed to make his decision by tonight I think?

Agreed except Williams being the most destructive force? What is the basis for that? He awesome devestation of Mathysse and Mitchell?? I think not...you're usually known for your impartial views, what's with all the love for Williams? He's a good fighter, but mouth is too big ESPECIALLY for someone with a horrendous resume for 32 fights!

I was talking about Cotto being the most destructive force.

If Margarito loses to Cotto, no biggie. Cotto is a wrecking ball. He loses to Williams, well.....

And I like Paul. Sure he has a big mouth but all boxers do. And I really think that he deserves a shot at Margarito. He has to move up and face someone sometime and Margarito is the guy I would want him to face. Sure Mathysse and Mitchell weren't the stiffest of comp. But really, who else is there to face that isn't incredibly dangerous?

147 is packed and the gatekeepers at this division could end up being guys like Zab, Kermit and Collazo in the near future. Maybe not Collazo. Right now I can't even think of who he could face, that could actually come off, that would make anyone anymore impressed with him then they are right now other then Tony. Maybe he could face Baldomir, Gatti or Quintana but honestly I don't see any of those fights happening and being good for either side. Especially Quintana.

He'll probably end up facing Estrada or someone of that ilk next time out.
