Here's how this statement should be looked at...in two or three parts...it's true & false...& then it's just Floyd.

#1: No. Hatton is not that big in America & he has been a bit of a let down to American boxing fans...not living up to all the massive hype.

#2: Yes. FLoyd is bigger than Hatton in America...BUT...with Hatton's style & had he been based in America as long as Floyd...he would have had the following of Gatti.

#3: I disagree with Floyd...but I also disagree with what some others have stated on this very thread. No...Floyd's fights do not sell out in 3 hours...but neither do Oscar's.

This is the fight of the decade with two of boxing's most note worthy figures. Floyd has finally made good on his rhetoric... "If it makes dollars it makes sense!" & this fight...it's already made the dollars...& it damned well makes sense.

Now...after Floyd loses to Oscar he'll move back down & beat Hatton & that'll be the end of it.
