I am a female boxer who has actually competed for a few years and i think if you are talking about competing you are getting a little bit ahead of yourself. Plus if you think about the hours coaches spend, often without profit, coaching their fighters it's no small thing and desverves some respect. You might want to have a go at boxing training seriously and get more of an idea of what is actually involved before you talk about competing.

Plus don't put a video of yourself pausing to do your make up in the middle of your training, with your hair down so it can get in your face without working hard enough to sweat - it doesn't say much about your training ethic. It doesn't encourage anyone to take you seriously.

If you want a coach to take you seriously you have to do what the rest of us do - go to a gym and train HARD - tie your hair back and get a real sweat up! I didn't see you hitting the bag long enough to prove you have something based on natural athletic ability. I don't really believe you got your heart rate up there and you need to be able to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.

Based on the skills you have now if I or any of the girls aiming to fight I have ever trained with were lined up to fight you - even some still yet to have their first fight - we'd know we could obliterate you - totally and utterly obliterate you! The competition is not at the same standard as it is for the men as there are fewer female boxers. However depending on where you are from that can mean you are forced to give away more experience or weight or both to fight and that should not be taken lightly. You are talking about a sport where even as a girl there will be blood and black eyes.

The point of boxing is it's hard, it hurts sometimes and it is a never ending path to perfection. No one can seriously expect to become a great fighter quickly. Realistically we're talking years and years of conciencious work to become even half way decent and there are girls who do put in that amount of work. You need to be able to deal with that to learn anything and go foreward.

If you really want it go for it - we need more girls in the sport but DON'T expect anything to be easy or to require any less than a full commitment from you.
