Ok, so it has just turned midnight here in the Yoo-kay, so anyone have an idea when the boxing card will be getting under way? I want to stay up, but sadly there's a mate sleeping in my lounge, so he may send me to bed cause he wants to sleep. Life's not fair, eh?

Ummm, I'm not sure how a non-boxing fan would react to the suggestion that we stay up until 5am just so that we can watch a RBR from a really good fight. He'll barely watch boxing anyway, let alone watch some random guy from America write about two boxers he's never heard of! I'll try my best.

Wouldn't mind if they at least showed highlights of the Spinks fight....

I don't understand why they wouldn't show the Spinks bout.....or most undercards at boxing events, since the cameras will be there anyway..

Anyway this is going to be real exciting, however it starts in 40 minutes here. Much earlier than usual. So you all should check with you tv program. I live in central time.

Dawson is very green for the upper class of Light Heavyweights. His defense isnt that good because he's open after every punch he throws, if Adamek is a puncher and catches him with the same shots Eric Harding did he could be hurt. I've only seen Adamek against Briggs the second time and I didn't think he won. So I'll pick Dawson. I won't be surprised if Adamek wins it though.

Jesus Chavez (43-3, 30 ko's) vs Julio Diaz (33-3, 24 ko's) Round 1: Chavez first outta the gate. Comes running out jabbing. Diaz returns the jab & backs Chavez up. Looping right from CHavez. Nothing on it. Diaz to the body Right hand from Chavez. Chavez swings wild to the body right & left & Diaz jabs. Right hand from Chavez again. Lotta lunging swinging & missing here. Left hand from Diaz. Chavez takes it & jabs out. Chavez cracks Diaz wikth a nice right hand. Chavez to the body. Diaz lands a nice left hook followed byh a right hand. RIght hand from Chavez.

Round to Diaz...but it was close for an opener.

Right & left from Diaz. Chavez runs him down but nothing happens. Chavez just really cant get it together IWO. Diaz controlling him iwht a jab. Wild hook from Diaz.
