And I totally agree,he CLEARLY stated that he would fight JLC next but then again,he clearly stated that he would fight Collazo again too
If Hatton does indeed fight the winner of N'dou-Rabah instead of Castillo I think it's pretty obvious fear would be the reason why. I mean what else would it be? The title means nothing. And it's not like N'dou or Rabah are big money fights. It's fear. Plain and simple.

Here's a good video of N'dou, he showed some heart against Mayweather, but he got destroyed in the process.

I think Ricky could have a good, action packed fight against N'dou.

like I posted on another thread if Ricky fights Ben Rabah, he's got the style to keep Ricky frustrated all night
and possibly pull a slap victory.

Lovemore N'dou gave Cotto one heck of a fight a few years ago.
Ben Rabah is garbage and would do no such thing against the British Troll. He's a feather fisted runner, thats all.
I know you hate the guy, but you don't think a feather-fisted runner would be a problem for Hatton style-wise?

I'm really dissapointed, I wouldn't call Hatton a coward though.

I wouldn't call anyone who laces up the gloves and goes out there and puts it on the line a coward. Do you think he faught Tszyu like a coward?

How long is he going to live of the Tszyu win? He gave his word to Collazo for a rematch and than ran away. He's now given his word to Castillo that he would fight him next. Now it looks like he's punking out. How you going to defend that?

He never said he'd rematch Collazo, and he didn't know the IBF would strip him if he didn't defend against N'dou/Rabah, he still plans to fight Castillo but I'm still sickened with his decision.

Ricky Hatton in his post fight interview after Collazo "I'll fight absolutely anybody and that includes a rematch with Luis."

After the Urango fight: "As expected, Bob Arum and his fighter Jose Luis Castillo were on hand to announce with Hatton's promoter Dennis Hobson that an agreement had been reached for the two fighters to face each other some time in June at the Thomas and Mack Center here in Las Vegas. "

Ricky's statement: "it will be an honor to share the ring with a fighter like Castillo who has been in so many great fights." He added " this ain't going to be a tickling contest…and if you want to watch a chess match tune in to the Floyd May weather - De La Hoya fight. But if you want to watch two blokes knock the shit out of each other watch me and Castillo."

    I agree, Smashup

Hatton should dispense with his belt and just fight Castillo now, if he wins then it leads to more recognition and more fights. The belt itself is irrelevant here...

    Disappointing as it would be....

I could see a massive Manchester card in the summer.

Hattons homecoming and mandatory defence against N'Dou

Witter on the undercard against his mandatory Castillo

Winner takes all unification in November for the WBC and IBF titles

Not so daft as it first seems and would rely on Castillo beating Witter for it all to fall into place.

Would rather see them fuck the belts off and get it on in June all the same

    That is all
