Chavez was one of my favourite fighters to watch, but what happens when Duran puts him on his back foot because he would make no mistake. Chavez never fought anybody with Durans fire who would stand in front of you and make you miss, Ive a feeling Chavez,s form would collapse. The best fight out there would be Duran V Benny Lenaord now theres a clash of styles that makes the mouth water, and a winner I wouldnt like to pick
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

No wonder you see it as "easy" for Duran . Never liked Chavez, eh? There are some fighters out there that I just don't like and would like to see KOed but that doesn't mean I don't see their qualities as good fighters. I want to see Floyd Mayweather jr. get KOed of course but I know for sure he is a talented boxer and when he faces De La Hoya ANYTHING can happen on both sides.

Anyways...I don't see it easy for Duran or Chavez. As for body punches, Chavez definitely!
Thats not why I think Duran wins... I think he beats Chavez because he is alot stronger(able to go up to Middleweight and compete against Hagler as an old man), and he has a much better defense. Chavez was hit way more against Leonard and Whitaker then Duran was hit against Leonard... against Hearns he was so old, but I think young Duran probably KO's Hearns.

Would either guy hurt the other? Would the hands of stone be able to move that iron chin?

You can't say that because Duran had just gone through a war with Hagler the year before and that took alot out of him. Hearns hadn't gone through as much as Duran, and he was still fresh... Duran wasn't. Duran was slow, and his defense was sloppy that fight, and he came back down from middleweight to fight Hearns, and that took alot out of him because he was up 190 before he came back down, and at 33 thats really hard to accomplish.

Its like saying that Glen Johnson or Tarver would have stood against against Roy Jones Jr. in his prime. Or that Terry Norris is better than Leonard because he beat him when he was older.
