Rommel did his damage before Patton took over the North African Campaign due to the loss at Kassirine Pass....I guess Monty got the oppertunity to fight Rommel directly but Monty was a B******....and then Rommel fought the Russians only to commit suicide later.

Patton did his best through Italy and during the Battle of the Bulge....which was vs Von Rumstedt and Model.



Acient History is the bomb! It explains so much about the bullshit that happens in the Middle East. I studied a lot about Rome and it was amazing the way they did politics and everything.
Rommel was a German Field Marshall when the war in the west started after D-Day, he was then gunned down by an Allied plane which caused him to suffer major injury, I don't believe he was ever in the east fighting the Russians
