I really think it will be an ugly fight, 12 round decision with Ricky probably winning a close 116-112 decision.

But it really means S*** to be honest. 147 lb is the where the action is. Neither Hatton or Castillo deserve to be in the p4p rankings and whover wins becomes the man in a division where all the proper talent moved up a year or so ago.

Hatton and Castillo are like vultures fighting over a baby zebra carcass. The lions who made the kill have already eaten their fill and moved onto to hunt for bigger prey.
Do you think Castillo should have gone to 147 already?

Honestly I don't think Castillo will be a factor at 147lb. He's not an exceptional fighter really, just a very good one. His biggest win is his first loss to Floyd Mayweather.

Going life and death with Diego Coralles doesn't an elite fighter make, and against most opponents he looks ordinary.

To my knowledge the only time in recent years he has looked truly impressive was the rematch with Coralles. But he didn't even attempt to make weight in that fight and Coralles really struggled to get down there.

Castillo is about on a par with Casamayor imo.

Look at Castillo's record since fighting Mayweather and it's nothing special at all really, two 12 round decisions against complete C listers at best in his last two outings, a split decision win over Casmayor that many felt that he lost, a late TKO win over Julio Diaz who to be honest is the sort of paper champ that Ricky Hatton would love to fight if he was at 140.

He's completely overratted if you ask me.
