I remember this guy . He is quite well built so he'll look respectable in the opposite corner but he has no ability to box whatsoever. I saw him getting owned over 6 rounds by a washed up Al Cole .He is awful on his feet , very novice like but looks like he may pack a wallop if given half a chance . He is so muscle bound that he runs out of stamina and then stumbles round the ring as if he is constantly out on his feet

He should be no threat even to an ageing Evander . Its a step down from Oquendo no doubt but what this guarentees atleast is another K.O win for Evander to get his confidence going again and the momentum going after his father passed away .
I hope they show this fight on Sky as it maybe Evanders last K.O win .

Tough Journeyman with no real skills...but he will give it his all....Nice guy with a big heart.....he won't roll over I know that for a fact....He won't win but he won't go in considering himself an opponent either.....Truth is I wish all fighters put on a display of heart like Maddalone does....Tickets would be worth the price everytime

vinny maddalone is a Banger...for real...
He;s tough, not much on the boxing skill, but has surprised me at times ...
He had a memorable brawl with brian minto in 2005 (he got tko'd in 7) also got Ko'd in 10 by the same minto in 2004
but i remember the fight in 2005, he comes to fight, ill give em that

smart choice for holy this time. Oquendo was a bad pick for a fight cause he backsteps too much. Vinny is not a smart fighter but does carry a little bit of skill. he took out shannon miller a prospect at one time with potential. but was exposed quicker than audley harrison. I am just glad he didnt go after brian minto who knocked out vinny before cause he can bang with just about anyone and will be tested againt krasniqi.
