I was just rewatching the Lewis: Bruno fight again yesterday for the first time in an age and it was remarkarbly wonderful viewing. Bruno had his weaknesses, but did what he did competently. If Bruno was here today in this day and age, he could do us quite proud. He had a decent jab, decent workrate and power. Lacking a chin and a bit of stamina, but most heavyweights are lacking something these days...

Maybe im just feeling nostalgic, after all Bruno was stopped in 6!
Todays American Heavyweights are the same. Just fucking pathetic. no quality about the lot.. Hell the skill level is shit. And the conditioning road work is pathetic. . Hell at least this match here Harrison -vs.- Sprott was a go. both guys working hard and letting their hands go, a rare thing these days.. And something to be proud of. Harrison got knockout fighting., there is nothing to be ashamed of in that .. one of his best performances until he got knocked out. Harrison came to fight .

Yes ! Frank Bruno was always in good condition and did his work in the gym 6"4 225. that’s true boxing conditioning mate ! that’s how its should be ! it’s a shame more of the younger Heavyweights don’t take this sport serious enough to get in proper boxing condition. in 24
