As for Floyd, he claims he's the best boxer ever and yet he has NEVER UNIFIED THE TITLES IN ANY WEIGHT CLASS HE HAS SET FOOT IN....and yet he still claims he's "the best ever"....let's just go over this a bit.

Ray never fought at 130, the division didn't exist when he fought
Floyd WBC TITLE HOLDER

Ray Robinson, never offered a title fight at 135
Floyd Mayweather Jr., WBC TITLE HOLDER

Ray didn't fight at 140...that division didn't exist when Ray fought
Floyd WBC TITLE HOLDER

Ray Robinson THE champion at 147
Floyd Mayweather Jr. WBC, IBO, IBA ......title holder

Ray Robinson THE Champion at 160
Floyd says he'll retire

are you getting the picture He's NEVER ....EVER...... EVER EVER EVER been THE CHAMP and therefore cannot be THE greatest.

So by my rational, Ricky ain't the greatest BUT he's not a loudmouthed c*** and that makes him more likeable

I never said Mayweather was the greatest. So you can click off Boxing Rec and stop your researching. Cuz all your doing is telling something I already know. Mayweather (rather misguided or not) has a high opinion of himself. If he has to lie to himself and make himself think he's the greatest. That's his problem. That arrogance and confidence has obviously helped him. He is undefeated. People don't like it. And that's understandable. But what I don't understand is why that dislike for him makes people belittle his accomplishments and make foolish statements about him ducking certain fighters. Yet they turn around and praise a guy who's accomplish less and in turned has faced less top fighters than Mayweather. Why cuz he's a nice guy? This is boxing. This ain't popularity contest.
