If the fight was not stopped Vitali with his very accurate punching W 35 (34 ko's) would have put lewis out for the third time of his career and lewis knew it thats why after the fight he ran behind the protective wall called retirement and God knows you could'nt melt that mofo and pour him on Vitali. So in my book lewis got a win over Vitali like Chris Byrd did.
Its one thing to be a nut hugger but this is beyond that. Vitali easily won the early rounds and Lewis had started to come on when the fight was stopped. Like someone else said Judah was winning after the 6th round and look how that ended. The fact is Lewis got the W via a TKO, it doesnt matter what the scorecards were or how each fighter was fighting. There are to numerous examples of a guy behind on the cards winning by (T)KO. It happens. And to say that Lewis "hid behind the protective wall of retirement" is just ignorant.

just what I was thinking , I agree with Landmine aswel . Lewis was chinny ? wtf ! Down twice in his entire career , Tuas , Tysons , Rudducks , Tuckers , Morrissons , Vitalis best shots bounced off him . Lewis was in the poorest shape in his life against Vitali . He was there for the taking but Vitali had no power to speak of. Mcall and Rahman took advantage of an over confidenet Lewis . Vitali couldnt cuz he cant hit hard enough .
