What are the best fights for Joe Calzaghe?

Its a farce that the Kessler fight hasnt happened. Its been over a year since Lacy and we've been fed BiKa and now Manfredo. Kessler would have been a much better proposition. Unification and then on to a final few money fights. Its all been handled so wrongly IMO....

Kessler-Calzaghe is the best fight for FANS...but it would cost the TV companies much more money for Kessler-Calzaghe than it does for Calzaghe-Manfredo for the same if not MORE viewers.

Yes it is the best fight for us FANS, but surely somewhere it must have registered to Calzaghe that it would have a been a sure way to keep the momentum going after the Lacy win?? Surely. Bika and Manfredo have been extremely poor compensation for a Calzaghe in his prime and looking to see out his career.

But why fight the star names when you are closer to 40 than 30? I prefer Calzaghe being in the position to fight the star names a little bit earlier than this!

I'm not trying to justify what they're doing/have done is right I'm just trying to point out the score...why the Kessler fight isn't happening at the moment.

When Calzaghe retires his career will be looked at as a "what could have been"...gaurantee it.
