I chose the first option, not because Vitali should get the shot....in all seriousness Sam should fight Maskaev right away.


NOW for my opinion...If he takes the money he's able to MAYBE set up a future unification bout by fighting a top contender in a WBA, IBF, or WBO rankings.

Shannon Briggs would fight him.....he could get a belt and then fight for the WBC belt vs Vitali for MORE MONEY later on.


Just me thinking.....Sam should get his shot though
