Everyone wants to talk about what Oscar has done.. .Fair enough but his impressive body of work was last etched 4 years ago come this May... That was his last meaningful prime fight for him and anyfight if any... Even the most staunch Oscar fan has to admit he has been Grossly inactive over the last 4 years... a Gifted win against Strum a Ko from Hopkins and a Defeat of Mayorga tells us absolutely 0, zilch, nada if Oscar has what it takes to hang with the #1 Boxer in the world.. If it was the same Oscar that fought Mosely, Vargas, Quartey then I would be sweating and pineing over this fight like I have never before, I am still cautios because he is dangerous but the Great Oscar is not that same Oscar anymore hate to burst your bubbles

But Floyd definetly has the best boxing skills, abilities and argueably the best defense in the biz bar none..... So he all of a sudden is gonna crumble from the Mighty Oscar.... Aint gonna happen and if it does I will eat a big piece of humble pie and wont piss and moan about it since Oscar is a true warrior and gets much respect from me... He might be the Metro Sexual Golden Boy but he is as Ruthless as Ghengus Kahn in the ring
CC,good post. I'm going to be cheering for Oscar that night more than I have cheered for anyone ever before but alllllll the variables are in Floyd's favour apart from size and weight,2 things which have almost always been against him. And Oscar is being made out to be a murderous ppuncher, something he needs to be but is NOT at all at 154. He's a good puncher, but I don't think he is active enough/will land enough to break Floyd down although, honestly,I SOOOOO hope he does!
