You think ODLH hits harder than Cotto...are you smoking crack, when you say you (think) that to me is you are in doubt...well wake up and smell the coffee....everyone is talking about ODLH/PBMayweather..guess what Cotto will use them as stepping stone to his rise to stardom...Cotto's only true test will be Paul Williams..

Yeah I don't think that is a good barometer or useful example of Shane beating Cotto. And Oscar did hit hard at lower weight but whether he hits as hard as Cotto at 147 is questionable, where's the proof? Msoley also got hit by alot of shots early on by Collazo before Luis broke his hand,if someone like Cotto was allowed to land that much,Shane would be in big big trouble.

Mosley just simply doesn't get hurt. It doesn't matter if Cotto punches to the head or body, nothing will phase Shane. Cotto will have problems with SSM's handspeed, hell anyone at 147 would, I'd say that the fight will probably end in a 116-112 or something like that for Mosley.

Mosley gets hurt....he got knocked down vs Forrest!!!

Miguel Cotto just is a faster and younger and more powerful version of Fernando Vargas. If Cotto smacks Shane like Luis Collazo did then he will have a LOT of trouble

Are you sure about that? As Lyle quite rightly pointed out.SSM was dropped by Vernon and has never had to face a sustained body attack like the one Cotto would bring to the table.

EXACTLY!! Don't make Mosley out to be invincible,he's not,not at 147.

People are making Cotto into a god. Mosley has hung with big punchers at 154. Remember, Mosley only legitimately has been "hurt" like once or twice in his long career, Cotto is the one that was getting hurt consistently at 140. Has anyone noticed that ever since the Torres fight Cotto has not been in there with a puncher? He's getting put in there with good fighters that can't hurt him, so he breaks them down eventually. Shane Mosley will have some pop at 147. It's funny how after a few good fights, people tend to forget Cotto's close calls. I'm not saying Cotto doesn't have a chance but Mosley should beat Cotto. Mosley is quicker, faster, smarter, has a pretty good edge in handspeed, has better footwork, has the experience, has a better chin, and just might have the same power Cotto has at 147.

All true....but Shane is on the way down....Miguel is on the way up.

And Shane didn't have to worry about being weight drained when he was at his lowest weight class. Miguel did....he fights a good 20 pounds over the limit at 140-147.

Shane is a tough top tier fighter and an all-time great but Miguel is still improving....he may be able to upset Shane eventhough he doesn't have the style to do it the way it has been done before
