Here's the thing...anyone that thinks Oscar is limited to just one punch needs to back track a bit & rejuvinate their brain cells.
Oscar is a combination puncher & he's also a counter puncher...while he may not be the technical wizard that Hopkins or Mayweather are...he can counter with the best of them & he's got a damned accurate jab.
As far as him not being a puncher...again...rewatch the man's career...he's got plenty of scalps on his record...30 to be exact.
That being said...apparently some people seem to be having the same issues with Floyd's punches & are either in denial or deaf, dumb, & blind to the facts. Floyd has knocked out plenty of fighters in his day. Check the man's record & rewatch his career.
Floyd has stopped 24 or 25 of his opponents & he's done it with power. A knockout or TKO is still a knockout...just because it takes more than one or two shots to do it...that doesn't mean he doesn't have power. He's an accumulative puncher & he's accurate as hell.
This is a fairly sensible post. What I think, however, you fail to realize, is that based on exactly what YOU said, all signs point to one outcome; Floyd winning a decision. Oscar has never COME CLOSE to knocking out anyone on Floyd's level, and Floyd also has never come close to stopping anyone of Oscar's ability. I don't think there has ever been a championship fight in the history of boxing that was so clearcut and obvious beforehand that a KO would not happen than this one. Who Floyd has KOd and TKOd in the past doesn't mean sh!t since he's not fighting them now, he's fighting Oscar. And the (extremely one dimensional and limited) fighters Oscar has KOd or TKOd recently mean just as little, because I think we all know Floyd is a different animal. I'll go so far as to say neither one of these guys will even hurt each other the whole night, and by all accounts, the actual fight itself will be somewhat of a dissappointment to most, as you can bet there ain't gonna be a brawl breaking out. And it's funny how people are saying Oscar is just gonna rush Floyd and overpower him, as if it's that easy. Fighting like that against a guy with skill, (who even may not have an ounce of power), will get your a** torn up coming in, especially when the fighter is deadly accurate. Oscar is smart enough to know this, this isn't even gonna be his gameplan. If it were that easy, Floyd would have 4 or 5 losses by now. It's hard to get a good shot in on Floyd just once, and people on this board are saying he's gonna get slaughtered by combos

That Floyd is just gonna miraculously get careless for a moment during the biggest fight of his entire life? The fight that he dreamed of even as an amateur in the Olympics in '96? He's trained his whole life for this, and he's gonna do exactly what turned off so many people in the Baldomir fight; fight smart, and stay away. Oscar's way better than Baldomir I know this, but he's not good enough to hunt down and KO the most talented fighter he'll ever fight when that fighter will refuse to give him the opportunity to do so.
