Default ODLH as a pressure fighter?

Do we really know how effective he will be? If you told me Winky Wright would pressure Mayweather, and gradually break him down I might believe you, but Winky has been fighting as a pressure fighter since he would Vargas where he is either in too close for you to fire off effective power shots or he is at distance where you don't get a break because of his jab, but even then Mayweather has such fast feat. Most of Mayweather's opponents have tried to be pressure fighters against him, and virtually of them have failed at it. Also NOBODY has been able to just walk in on Mayweather to date not even Baldomir who is bigger than ODLH and has a fine chin. Oscar has the skills to be a good pressure fighting in that he has good speed, great chin, and good timing, but as against Mosley he leaves himself open at times. THe best I've seen of ODLH is when he's used footwork against Mosely II or against Trinidad. He kept them off set, but that won't work against Mayweather, and boxing PBF will be the worst thing ODLH can do. Oscar is susceptible to the right cross especially when he comes in, and the left hook, and both of those right now are PBF's best punches. ALso ODLH is great at defending against a good jab like against Quartey, well PBF's doesn't have the same power, but it is alot faster than Quartey's, and it is a pretty solid punch that has slowed down Castillo, Baldomir, and Corrales. Among others. Anyways I see if Oscar tries to come getting hooked off the jab, and hit with clean right hands all night, but that might be his saving grace if Mayweather hurts his re-injured hand.

To be honest, this would be the worst thing for ODLH to do. If he's smart, he'll watch his energy levels and fight smart for the first half and then bring the pressure in the end. If he tries to come out and pressure Floyd because he's the bigger man, Floyd will make ODLH look silly and ODLH will gas out by the eighth, then he really will have hell on his hands. I don't believe either of the these guys in the press conferences. ODLH is saying he'll stand toe to toe and make it a dirty fight but Oscar will just jab Floyd a bunch to begin with because he doesn't want to get ate up with counter punches. Floyd says he'll fight toe to toe but he'll counter punch for the first half and try to land on the body. People that are expecting a snoozefest are wrong and people that are expecting an awesome fight are wrong. The fight will be Oscar's light pressure and jabbing and Floyd's speed and quickness in the first six rounds and then the fight will break because Oscar's always tires and Floyd will pick up the pace. I think it's gonna be something like the Quartey-ODLH fight in 1999 except more lopsided for Floyd.

The only thing we can legitimately compare this to is the Pernell Whittaker fight.

I think Oscar's boxing knowledge gives him a good shot but Floyd's skills and mindset won't allow him to get in danger.

I say Floyd walks away with a UD.....if he EVER gets caught he's done for and don't think he ain't planning around that!
