You're full of S***. Mayweather beat Gatti in one more round, and while he totally dominated the fight. ODLH was bleeding, and good hit by quite a few hard punches from Gatti. Sure Gatti was younger, but he also didn't know how to box at the time. Also Mayweather didn't compare his opponents to those of ODLH he just said that he could have beaten them, and he could. Also we all know Whitaker beat Oscar Dela Hoya, and we know that Sturm beat Dela Hoya far more convincingly than the first Castillo fight. Mayweather was landing more actual punches while Castillo would tie him up with one arm, and punch with the other. That is why he didn't win because Mayweather landed cleaner more effective blows throughout the fight, and it wasn't like Taylor-Wright where Wright not only landed like 60 more punches, but also was landing the cleaner blows, and it still a draw because of Taylor landing harder punches.

There was a BIG different between the Gatti Oscar beat and the Gatti Floyd beat and Gatti used to box in the amatuers too(according to Larry Merchant during the commentary of Ward Gatti 1). And I suggest you actually WATCH JLC and PBF and tell me who was the landing the cleaner punches. Floyd may have been doing so earlier in the fight but JLC was after that and JLC's punches looked heavier to me. WHitaker Oscar was close.

I have watched PBF-JLC over, and over, and PBF easily landed the better shots. He landed more power shots that I would have counted, and he obviously landed more jabs. Is it the first someone would disagree with the official punch stats? I think not.
