CC. Its fukin stupid to act like Tarver faced any where near a prime Montell Griffin. "Ice" was one hell of a fighter in his brief prime. I have seen both his first fight with Toney and his first fight with Jones, and he was not intimidated a bit in either match. He won a SD against James in the the first fight which could have gone either way, and he had less than 14 pro bouts at the time
He then fought the greatest of all time p4p IMO, Roy Jones next, and was outboxing jones somewhat up till he got dropped, then he took a dive. Griffin didn't do much in his later year, or really anything past the second Jones fight. Last good performance I saw of his was when he beat Rico Hoye with basically a jab and then got screwed by the judges. Griffin had a whole lot of talent, but did not make the most of it sadly.
