The best weekend of boxing so far this year, Miranda v Green and Marquez v Vasquez are two dream match ups, Darchinyan in what seems to be a tougher test, then add a likely Cotto masterclass to the equation and that makes us boxing fans some lucky sons of bitches! great article, the business is crazy but seems to be wising up on whole to making good match-ups to prevent 'defectors' from going to MMA. While I disagree that MMA will kill boxing, but having 3 cards on one night, HBO, Showtime and UFC 68 PPV, it makes us choose and therefore the money has to be be shared out, surely they should wise up to this and put some bigger cards on Friday nights.

You're joking! Sky aren't covering EITHER fight?!!?! Shows how much they know about boxing and don't they show bloody angling and other obscure sports like that?! I don't think either fight will get massive viewing figures simply because Cotto,although growing in popularity by the day,still isnt' massively well known(although he will be if he carries on like this) and even though Rafa and Isreal are both P4P , they are not common name to the average fan ALTHOUGH anyone who misses that fight needs get examined!

Definitely the fight of the week, surprised more people aren't talking about it. I mean Miranda-Green's an interesting matchup but who really cares about Cotto-Urkal? I mean I like to watch Cotto fight but its hard to get excited about a fight when you pretty much already know who's gonna win.

I will miss a LIVE, Cotto fight for the 1st time since I first saw him But hey! I can't complain as soon as I get home I'll replay the fight....


Wait! a minute, I'm looking at the tickets and it says the doors open at 5:00 p.m. If I'm not mistaken the Cotto fight should be starting somewhere around 8:00 p.m. (Depending how long the Miranda-Green fight last).... Hmmmmm! interesting I might just be able to jet out of Carson down the 710 to the 105 onto the 605 and be home on time....

Miranda -vs.- Green could be something to keep an eye on also however don‘t know if either guy can come back from being hurt by the other.. Both these guys have the type punch and finishing tools to see the job through . . ..
