    Default Eating junk food, without gaining weight.

    If I can eat so called "junk food", and Im not gaining weight or anything, would it be alright to eat it? Or is it going to affect my conditioning and training?

    eat crap, look like crap, train like a pile of crap

    its a bad energy source as junk food is empty calories, saturated fats and processed carbs. Boxing is meant to be about train your body and making it fire on all cylinders.

    I guess you are young if you say you can eat alot of the crap and not change much

    Do yuor training and self a favour, replace all junk food with a nutritionaly balanced diet and see your performance improve and also you bank balance

    Good to be young with a fast metabolizm that burns up fat.lucky bastard.

    It will build up eventually internally through and glogg arteries and poor life force,through eating to much cooked dead food apart from the cemical residue which will screw with your lymph system and blood etc.

    For us oldies when you do eat a fatty dish wash it down and break it up with a nice drop of red wine.

    amen gutshot.

    when you eat your trying to intake different nutrients from your food that all do a different job within your body. proteins aid in muscle growth and repair for instance.

    junk food doesnt provide sufficient amounts of each nutrient, often a surplus in the nutrients you dont want so much.

    you also need the right kind of food to provide your body with the energy needed to complete the hard and demanding workouts that boxing requires. feeding your body junk food is like putting deisel in a petrol car...

    Theres more to food than just the amount of calories in it. Think about what the saturated fat is doing to your arterys, the salt is doing to your heart and blood vessels, the sugar is doing for your insulin levels *snip*

    I'll stop there but you get my point?

    Dido on all that. these are some smart fellaz that can and will teach u alot. U can learn alot just from sitting around in here and checking out other ppls shit if u pay enough attention.
