I swear to God, you'd think that a group of grown men can at least take what someone says and process it without getting all heated. Half of guys in here are ready to kill Floyd over a couple funny and truthful comments. Good lord, next time I won't provide a synopsis from a press conference for a bunch of kids. I'm tired of hearing "wait till May 5th, we'll see..." What does that have to do with anything? Oscar's will be beat, Floyd will remain undefeated, and a third of you Oscar fans will go back to being full-time Miguel Cotto pubic hairs, a third of you Oscar fans will go back to whining about why STILL Margarito hasn't received a big time match yet, and a third of you Oscar fans will disappear until Oscar fights again. Only that rare %1 of Oscar fans won't make any excuses and will actually concede that Floyd was the better man. Seriously, this guy isn't a super hero, he's not invincible, calm down.

BTW, I think that we are gonna see something special from Floyd. Floyd didn't have to agree to Reyes gloves, 154, or a smaller ring. Floyd Sr. knew he was gonna price himself out of the market for the ODLH fight, now Floyd Sr. can go back to training his son against the man that he's trained for six years. Yeah, this wasn't just a coincidence. Floyd Jr. is smarter than anyone gives him credit for and I will bet 50 CC to the first person that takes me up on the bet, that Floyd will not only beat ODLH, but he will EMBARRASS ODLH. The operative word being EMBARRASS.
CC albsur. I've watched this thread with bewilderment. It was silly enough for people to get all heated about Mayorga's shit-talking, which was also clearly done to sell a fight (and you know Oscar loved every minute of it for exactly that reason--where do you think those 900,000 buys came from?)--but this is really ridiculous. Floyd didn't say anything too extreme. He's talking some shit. That's what athletes do. That's what smart fight promoters do. It's nothing terrible or even out of the ordinary.
