Wow. I completely shocked at the amount of people hanging from ODLH's nuts in this thread. You people crack me up. If you are a Boxingtalk member and check out the video, then you'll see that Floyd wasn't really being malicious, he was "being real" and selling the fight at the same time. I swear to God, you'd think that a group of grown men can at least take what someone says and process it without getting all heated. Half of guys in here are ready to kill Floyd over a couple funny and truthful comments. Good lord, next time I won't provide a synopsis from a press conference for a bunch of kids. I'm tired of hearing "wait till May 5th, we'll see..." What does that have to do with anything? Oscar's will be beat, Floyd will remain undefeated, and a third of you Oscar fans will go back to being full-time Miguel Cotto pubic hairs, a third of you Oscar fans will go back to whining about why STILL Margarito hasn't received a big time match yet, and a third of you Oscar fans will disappear until Oscar fights again. In Houston, he was going off on ODLH in an interview with the media and he said "HBO wants me to bust Oscar's a**, Oscar is ungrateful and a brat, plus they know it's long term with me. I'm only 30 years old." If you're a Boxingtalk member you can watch the video yourself. I don't think he meant to let it slip but he was really heated because of how he said his team has been treated during the press conferences.

FYI...Floyd also really outed Oscar as an asshole in the media interviews. He mentioned stuff that I guess only boxing insiders know. He mentioned how Oscar's team messed with the scales in his career to ensure that he always made weight, how Bruce Trampler handpicked all of Oscar's opponents, how Oscar goes to strip clubs too, how Oscar gets drunk, how Oscar says he's a nice guy but is really jerk, how Oscar is cheap as hell, how Oscar's got kids out of wedlock that he doesn't claim, and a bunch of other stuff. He really was mad as hell, he was going off, he even went into how he's from the slums how his dad sold drugs and his mom was on drugs. After watching this interview, I like Floyd even more and respect the fact while a lot of people hate him, at least he hasn't changed who he really is for the cameras.

I'm wondering how much truth there is to PBF's allegations. He said some of the same things at the Detroit press conference (read it in my article on here- Pretty Boys Will be Pretty Boys). I'm not believing DLH is the second coming of the Devil or anything, but I certainly didn't hear Oscar say he wanted the press conference open to the public.

Winky Wrights way too big for Floyd, Winky could probably barely make 154 anymore and obviously he's moved up to middleweight and now higher since... People want to see him fight MOsley now that he looked good against Collazo again but the DLH fight was already a done deal, and theres a good chance Floyd will fight Mosley if Shanes still at welter and if he beats OScar.. And as far as Pacman, if you can even type that without laughing I don't know what to say... He is fighting at 130 now. Where exactly would that fight take place? Would Floyd beating someone who currently fight 17 lbs below him prove more than beatin DLH to you? I think many people would agree Oscar is the biggest realistic challenge Floyd could have taken aside from Wright which is too much, and perhaps now Mosley as well.. Any boxer want's the most money they can get for any fight, always. Some may not make it obvious and voice their demands more in the actual negotiations themself, probably through their managers and promoters and what not... But no fighter is going to take a pay cut when they feel they deserve more and they have other options..

I imagine his future business relationship with Oscar and Golden boy was discussed and probably had something to do with it as well.. Also the fact is that Mosley really deserved to lose the rematch with DLH and his own expression afterwards says the same thing. But that's not even really the point.. Mosley may have taken a different fight for less money, but that doesn't mean he's not going to make sure he gets everything he can out of the fight that he did take.. I was talking more once a fight is in negotiations, every fighter is going to get the most they can out of it.

I really don't see what the fuss is about. Anybody who has eyes to see and ears to hear should be able to see that De La Hoya is a complete phony.

I've been the most active De La Hoya hater on here for years. I've also provided proof about his links to the Illuminati and Free Masons, plus the likelyhood of his being the anti-christ, or at the very least one of the unnamed sent to prepare his way, a kind of evil John the Baptist if you will.

With James Cameron now finding Jesus' tomb it wouldn't at all suprise me if DNA analysis of the corpses residing within provides firm evidence 'to the fools at least' that Jesus' bloodline does indeed live on and that Oscar De La Hoya is the living descendent of Christ.

That's all fine, but Oscar will never be named one of the elite fighters in the sport, he'll never be compared to Hagler or Leonard or SRR or anything like that. It's funny because Floyd, with all his talent, honestly, just wants to be a fan favorite and the most popular. Oscar, with all his popularity, would kill for a chance to be P4P and compared to the greats.
