At this point of their careers...Oscar has a much better case for being mentioned with the greats than Floyd does. At the end of the day...you have to look at a fighters resume. I don't care how skilled Floyd is...he simply has not fought GREAT competition. Lets see...Oscar has fought Mosley, Trinidad, Hopkins, a prime Vargas (who was on steroids by the way!), a prime Quartey, etc. He won some of these fights and he lost some...but bottom line is...he stepped up and fought GREAT fighters. Add to that...he is mega popular. The best fighter Floyd has faced is Castillo...and with all due respect...i don't consider Castillo a truly great fighter. Otherwise...Floyd's recent and much hyped victories are over Gatti?! Brussels?! Mitchell?! Judah?! and Baldomir?! All this is not to downplay Floyd's tremendous skill...but right now...he is no where close to being considered an all time great. Oscar will always have haters. But the proof is in the pudding: he is mega popular, a great business man, and he has faced great opposition in the ring. That is a lot more than you can say for Floyd.
