    Default Manfredo vs. Shieka

There is talk about an Omar Shieka Manfredo Jr bout. Im interested to see who you guys would pick. I'd take Manfredo by decision... With freddie roach in his corner he has come a long way from the lack luster showing on the Contender finale(won the rematch... i dont care how Mark Burnette scripted it)

Sheika is perhaps the most one dimensional fighter I have ever seen in my life. Not that he's a total bum but now that he's also all worn out I don't see him... Well, on the other hand it's Manfredo right.. If Sheika has anything left it could certainly tell us a few things about the contender boy.. Hopefully not like that garbage vs Pemberton.

I do not think that Manfredo has anything to do in SMW, but if he insists to fight in this division he should get by Sheika quite easily. Beyer made a total shoot out at Sheika. Only Lacy had big problems with him.

WELL ITS LACY RIGHT? TALK ABOUT 1 DEMENTIONAL. CANT GO FOR THE HOME RUN EVERY PUNCH. CALZAGHE GAVE HIM A BOXING LESSON... QUITE IMPRESSIVE. AND AS FOR MANFREDO FIGHTING @ SMW, HE WALKS AROUND @ 180. I LIVE IN PROVIDENCE AND SEE HIM ALL THE TIME. HE GOES TO MY BARBERSHOP. HE HAS GROWN INTO A SMW. AND YES THIS TYPE OF FIGHT WOULD BE A TYPE OF PROVING GROUND. AS HAPPY AS I WAS FOR HIM TO GAIN THE IBF #14 AND WBC#15 SPOTS BY BEATING PEMBERTON I THINK IT WAS A WIN AGAINST A 40 YR OLD SHOT FIGHTER THAT WAS JUST BARELY HANGING ON TO HIS RANKING. SO AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED HE IS UNTESTED. FREDDIE ROACH HAS WORKED WONDERS WITH HIM. LOOK @ THE 2 FIGHTS WITH MORA. HE OUTWORKED AND OUTPOINTED HIM IN THE SECOND FIGHT AS APOSED TO THE LACIDASICAL FIGHTER WHO RAN OUT OF GAS WE SAW IN THE FIRST FIGHT. AS MUCH AS I THINK HE WILL BECOME A GREAT SMW HE IS FAR FROM THE LIKES OF CALZAGHE...

Friend, would you mind to write in English, French or German (or any Scandinavian languish) - else most of us would not be able to understand you.

I personally dont think he belongs in SMW, hopefully he proves me wrong. He is one of the guys I liked from the Contender. Shieka is close to being a shot fighter, so I think Manfredo would win a UD. But it would be a tougher fight than with Pemberton. I think that Manfredo would show and prove more with this fight than he did against Pemberton.

ANOTHER RHODE ISLANDER, JOE "KO KID" SPINA (17-0-1) WILL BE FIGHTING THE CONTENDERS JESSE BRINKLEY (26-3-0) BOTH ARE SUPERMWS... TALK ABOUT SOMEONE WHO SHOULDNT BE BOXING AT ALL IS SPINA. WHAT A PADDED RECORD. KID FIGHTS TOMATO CANS. THE ONLY QUALITY OPPOSTION THAT HE FACED WAS JOSE SPEARMAN. ISNT EVEN THAT GREAT AND SPINA COULD BARLY BANG OUT A DRAW. SPINA'S RANKED 22 BY THE IBF I THINK... CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM GET KNOCKED OUT.
