I think ESPN is more predicated on fights, no matter how insignificant they may be while Shobox is more geared towards talent. Most of the time, ESPN is the better watch but you'll learn a lot more from Shobox. When I had satelite it was easy because I would watch FNF then watch Shobox 3 hours after it happened on Showtime West.

Yeah but not as much as he thinks he does.. Kellerman is more opinionated then fact all, if you know what I mean? He goes out of his way to be an asshole... your right about the Jim Rome likeness . Remember when Rome kept calling Jim Everett Chrissy Everett over and over again and Everett repeatedly asked him to stop, but Rome continued, even though Everett threatened if he did it again he would not stand for it. , Rome persisted and Everett finally lost it and knocked Rome off his fukin chair . I loved that moment ! laughing me ass off on that one ! Id like Lewis just to open hand bitch slap Kellerman the next time he comes off with one of those smug remarks challenging Lewis's play by play commentary .

"Call me Chrissy one more time"
    "Ok Chrissy"

Next thing he knew Rome was wearing his table as a seatbelt. He also put out a hit to any IHL league hockey player who would rough up Gordie Howe when Howe played a shift at 69. Howe then called Rome and invited him to the game saying he would personally kick his ass. Then he threatened a law suit and Rome backed off. Gary Radnich told a story once that the two were at the ESPY awards in LA and when Howe went into the room Rome was in, Rome ran out of there with his tail between his legs scared of Gordie Howe. I wouldn't mind seeing Rome get roughed up again. And by a 70 year old man would be priceless.

fucking classic. I did not know about all that Gordie Howe stuff ! Cool Click in 24 !

Who the fuk is Jim Rome?
LA Radio host. Got his own show on ESPN2 called Talk2 in the mid 90's and that's where the Jim Everett thing happened. Went back to radio after, then got his own show on FSN a few years later. Back to radio again and now has his own show on ESPN prior to Around The Horn and PTI called Rome is Burning.

Still has his radio show to except I think it's weekly now. Absolute asshole. Nobody likes him but he creates controversy all the time and likes to be...well Rome. He talks down on EVERYONE who makes any sort of mistake. He is an absolute clown and as about as unwatchable as sports come.

You would probably recognize him if you saw him.

CC. Still dunno who you are talkin bout, next time I remember I'll try to catch a bit of his show. How much more of an ass clown is he compared to the white guy on PTI?

If you think he's an assclown, then don't watch Rome Hulk Honestly, I can't believe he has a show.

I personally like Kornheiser, funny guy and everything. Sometimes comes off clueless on the show but his columns in the Washington Post are second to none. CC returned.

    Leonard Dorin
    Luis Collazo
    Michael Johnson
    Kermit Cintron
    Jeff Lacy
    Francisco Bojado
    Joan Guzman
    Rocky Juarez
    Zahir Raheem
    Guillermo Jones
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Alex Arthur
    Scott Harrison
    Dominick Guinn
    Nate Cambell
    Kid Diamond
    Carlos Quintana
    Ishe Smith
    David Estrada
    Jameel McCline
    Robert Guererro
    Sechew Powell
    Grady Brewer
    Paul Malignaggi
    Juan Urango
    Mike Arnaoutis
    Sam Peter
    Eric Aiken
    Ebo Elder
    Courtney Burton
    Cornelius Bundrage
    Kendall Holt
    David Diaz
    Kelly Pavlik
    Yuri Foreman
    Allan Green
    Andre Berto
    Chad Dawson
    Joel Julio

And it has had current prospects like the Dirrell's, Peterson's, Chazz Witherspoon and Jean Paul Mendy. I think there is a case to be made that it has been the best boxing program out there since it's conception in 2001. A lot of these fighters have lost on Shobox. They always make fighters step it up a level and a lot of good fights have came from it.

Don't know who's fighting tonight but this show is great.
    duly noted.

Cool Click for sharing all that ! LOL Dice was a bit outta line,, but Rome had it coming.. hate smug interviewers. there was this guy on Showtime that would always annoy me cause he shows no respect for the fighter. He comes off with some shet about this about that.. where is the decency ? you know what I mean , the guy is supposed to be a professional at his job, he should have common courtesy skills. you would think they would teach that in Media school , you know ?

That fight was no robbery. It was a close toe to toe bloody battle with both men putting all on the line...that doesn't equate to a robbery.

Yo I was just wondering, I'd never seen shobox before seeing as i'm from UK, that list of names is impressive, but what I find a bit backwards is that UFC, Showtime and HBO are putting big money cards on the same night when Friday is there to be had alone!
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

The closest I scored that fight was 7 rounds to 5 with Dorin. Spadafora didn't get it going until the last 4 rounds of that fight. Spads showed good heart because he had several cuts on his face but he ate that right hand all night, I know what you mean that close fights that could go either way aren't robberies but I really don't think that one could have gone either way.
