bowe was out of shape in first fight prolly over 2 stone his prime weight then in rematch he had brain damage and had lost like 50 pounds in less than 2 months making him feel weight drained and prime golota is good fighter he just hates people who attack him from opening bell but prime golota is dangerous he has good jab good power good workrate and not bad chin its just his heart is shite and your saying bowe couldnt beat golota then why couldnt wlad beat sanders purity lamon brewster ??

wlads chin is far too weak for prime bowe

yeah sanders beat him the other two he ran out of steam on.Purity and Brewster will never get that lucky again,we may get to see if sanders can do it again. You speak of Golota's power and skill don't you think Wlad's power and skill would be a factor?

Wlad has a good solid rhythm, he's no Mike Tyson but he has fast hands and can land some deadly combinations.

Don't sell Wlad short just because Riddick was so damn impressive....Wlad has his moments as well
wlads chin is too weak lyle and he gets caught bowe would get to wlad in the end and prime bowe wouldnt let wlad survive either wlad has good straight right and good jab but so does bowe wlad hasnt got that greatest stamina either and thats big flaws against prime bowe but lets be honest wlad has quite few bad flaws how many bad flaws can you name with prime bowe ??

Wlad is a FAR better fighter than Golota but the Bowe that fought Golota was sadly past his best.

Wlad gets knocked down too much...I won't argue with you about that...his defense has improved but you notice he ALWAYS gets back up. He might not know what to do when he gets hit hard but he knows what to do when he hits the canvas and that's GET BACK UP.

He has NEVER been sparked out unconscious....neither has Bowe but give the man SOME credit.

i give him credit lyle he is great fighter but against prime bowe he would be tkoed im sorry lyle but prime bowe is round about same height and he would get to him in end no way on this earth wlad could keep prime bowe off him for 12 rounds and even if he managed to keep bowe off him for say 7 or 8 rounds he would have to work so hard to do that and his stamina would let him down and he would be tkoed

The main flaw with a Prime Bowe is that he let the momentum change hands too much....he couldn't dictate the pace of a fight for 12 rounds. Wlad is far better at that than Riddick EVER was

Riddick let Holyfield back into the fight everytime they fought. Riddick let Golota dictate the pace of their fights. It's almost like Riddick didn't want to throw first.

Wlad HAS to dictate the pace because of his weaknesses...Bowe just had one hell of a chin, he could take ANYTHING.

Bowe was a great great fighter

I understand your view ICB BUT when is Wlad's Prime Wlad is only 30 he COULD (unlikely as it may be) still improve on his style. Remember one Lennox Lewis who's prime happened later in his career than earlier Wlad MAY be the same way which makes it more difficult to say how Wlad would do.

So far Wlad completely dominates the fighters his own size like Bowe, mainly because of his sharp jab, HOWEVER none of the big fighters he has fought had the skill and physical abilities of Riddick Bowe

this is good point lyle shame in this era he wont ever fight anyone as skilled as bowe only fighter who is very skilled and has iron chin is vitali but that fight wont ever happen sadly wlad wont ever have a chance to fight great fighter which is a shame

Sam Peter has a good chin BUT his boxing ability is nowhere near Bowe's class.

CC for a good solid arguement ICB

If this is a hypothetical matchup, prime for prime, bowe would absolutely murder Wladimir....... I honestly believe it wouldn't last until the mid rounds.... Bowe(at his peak) had a lot more talent the Wlad. He hit harder, was faster, tougher, was a far beter boxer.. It wouldn't even be close.

prime for prime. bowe would wear him down en route to a late stoppage win.

for a big man bowe was a good inside fighter who would prove too durable for wlad

think its an easy one for bowe with knockout early to mid rounds, bowe was pretty awesome in his prime could of been an all time great if he had stayed off the burgers

totally agree. sad waste of talent. i think the bowe that beat holyfield in 92 could possibly have beaten any heavyweight in history

disagree with that because even holyfield managed to win 4 rounds in first fight i think prime ali prime holmes is 50-50 prime foreman and few others would beat bowe but bowe was excellent talent and could of been all time great but wasted his talent away on food

and only other thing that suprised me was tony tubbs gave bowe hell in bowes prime and alot think tubbs derserved the nod against bowe
