You folks remember when Carlos 'El Indio' Quintana said that Cotto cheated?

    LMAO!

Here are two photos of his back after the fight.

Let this be a lesson to future Welter weights. Never turn your back on Cotto.

it wasnt a foul by cotto. its just cos quintana is a southpaw that cotto's left hook may sometimes land around there where it would normally land as a nice shot to the liver on an orthodox fighter.

My gosh?!?! Thats fricking powerful! Cc for that Danny.Question though,is that a legal blow? I mean I know Quintana turned his back but still,if a fighter turns his head, you still cannot hit him in the back of his head! Silly Quintana though!

But if they turn their back or head while you are in the act of throwing a punch they dont call it a foul. Non of the shots that Quintana took to the back were purposely thrown to the back area. I know that Quintana turned his back into a couple of them and then some landed there because of the lefty vs righty element.

my mate reckons that cotto is actually a lefty aswell (could explain the awesome left hook). but i know what your saying. the southpaw vs orthodox stance issues

Dayam-m-m! I know it's a bruise, but at first glance, it looks like Cotto knocked the color right out of Quintana's skin.

(Could be the beginning of a new boxing trash-talk, as in: "I'll knock the pigmentation right off your skin!").

Cotto is definitly left handed orthodox, and there's an argument that Quintana is a right handed southpaw, they are both a bit backwards.

Cotto said in an interview he does EVERYTHING left handed except box his stands is orthodox not southpaw as one would think....

I didn't catch the fight but normally if a fighter continues to turn his back to the other fighter...the ref will repeatedly warn him.The bruise is almost in the middle of his back!

He did very well as a southpaw in that fight! Cotto switched stance and it helped him land more effectively.

Shiet now I am confused. Wasnt he called el diablo before this fight?

Now BoxRec has him down as el indio

    http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=023664

The article below also has him named as el indio.

Now is it me? I swear to God I thought he was going by the name El Diablo. WTF!?
