Sorry to the Cotto fan's (I am one of them BTW), but I also thought most the headbutts were unintentional. Cotto reminds me of Trinidad. Little head movement but an extremely strong fighter (being undefeated, he must think no one can hurt him. . . probably no one has). I think Urkal was just one tough cookie. Any person less then Urkal would have gone down earlier in the rounds. In fact, Urkal seemed to have gained his second wind in the later rounds (he even backed up Cotto a couple of times). Despite the heavier punches of Cotto, I actually thought he also won 2 rounds on punches connected. I think Urkal complained that the Referee did not even give a warning or have points deducted from Cotto despite being the recipient of a the kidney punch and throw over-the-shoulder.

Cotto should learn to move his head more often. Someone quick with a heavy hand would possibly give our man a lot of trouble.
