You have to use angles and throw lots of punches. You cant come strait in on him because he will block your punches with his forearms. Most guys will eventually drop their hands enough for you to land solid punches (especially as a fight goes on) but not Winky. Sam Soliman was somewhat sucessful because he used angles and made Winky work at an high pace.

No offence Boom...but how do people think that Soliman was even somewhat sucessful landing only 17% of his punches?

Sure Soliman looked busy throwing 100+ punches in a round...but hardly any of that 100+ found a home anywhere but on forearms & elbows.

Taylor would be the only one to be considered sucessful against Wright lately.

Dont get me wrong, it wasnt a close fight imo but when he threw 3 or 4 punches at a time the last one seemed to get though. It will get you through his defence, but it wont win you the fight......and Winky got robbed vs. Taylor imo but Taylor was succesful using his jab at times
