Bro I like a few fights on your list...

    Especially
Marquez - Caballero, Pavlik - Miranda.

    But I'd like to add

    Darchinyan - Marquez.
    Mosley - Cotto.

I think for what it's worth Marquez-Vic would great to see BUT I'm afraid Marquez would be a wee bit tooo much....
I'll explain why I was ringside this past Sat. and as honest and unbiased as I can be with you I was NOT impressed by Vic I have been more impressed on other occasions by Vic but I will say that he likes to through leather and isn't afraid to stand toe to toe....

I like SSM-Cotto, maybe once Cottos finished off whats left of Zabs career whe might see Cotto vs. SSM....
cc back ace! Vic will fight anyone & that's what impresses me in a fighter. Marquez' chin has always been questionable & it would be a even money fight for me. Two warriors going toe to toe. Both these guys are amoung my favourites & although I feel Marquez is the better all round he seems to make fights harder for himself at times than they need to be. Whereas Vic is always the same he just wants to hit you with that left. Great fight either way.

I really want to see Mosley - Simms but don't think Simms is a big enough name... although I feel he's #1 at 154.

    Ummmm....
I personally don't think Marquezs chin is questionable if your going by his 3 losses look at them in the same manner as you would B-Hops 1st loss and Arguellos 1st loss they came at points in their careers in which they were inexperienced....
I mean aside from this Sat. the last time Marquez was hurt by a punch was when he fought 'Too Sharp' Johnson...
The Vasquez knockdown was a beauty of a hook from Vasquez and I sware I thought the ref. was gonna stop the fight cause I saw Marquezs left leg wobble as he stood but he got back in there and fought back....
From Vic all that winding up the punches and cocking back would not work with any World Class fighter.....
Plus if I'm honest I think the weight difference/size would be to Marquezs advantage....

SSM-Simms.... I don't think SSMs too eagered to move back uo to 154 I think he said he was staying at 147 for now.....
But how about Simms vs. Spinks?

Yeah bro I heard they wanted to make Simms - Spinks, I just want Simms to get in there with the big names & prove how good he is... he's running outta time!

As for Marquez' chin Garcia stopped him in 2 rounds in about his 24th fight! He must off had some experience by then! It also looked to me like he was ready to throw it in against Austin until he landed that big shot in the 8th. I'm not taking anything away from Marquez just saying his chin isn't granite.

As for Darchinyans style not working against a world class opponent thats not fair. A lot of good fighters tried to beat Pacheco but til this day Vic is the only one to do it. I also feel the weight would be advantageous to Marquez but he has only fought as high as feather so I don't see it causing Vic to many problems as he has fought at Jr. Feather before.

His power & southpaw stance would be key factors towards a victory.

Funny you mention that fight, I was talking to a guy ringside on Sat. about that fight.....
That fight was fought on a Sun. afternoon in a 'Swap Meet' (Don't know if you know what a 'swap meet' is but it's like people set up their own little shops/stores and sell different things these are usually held in 'Drive In's )
Anyway he took the fight on 2 weeks notice.... Not an excuse by any means but IMO in some ways it explains how the loss came about.
In the end it's still in his record I personally just don't put tooo much emphasis on it...
Take his 1st loss, I mean who in their right state of mind decides to fight an Ex-World Champ. who single handedly aniahlated almost all of Asias best lower weight fighters at that time, for their 1st fight? WTF?
IMO it was a stupid thing to do but shit! I'm sure he learned his lesson....

About Vic I'll be honest credit to him for beating Pacheco but as honest as I can be I was never impressed with Pacheco....
Pachecos best opponent was Montiel a well seasoned fighter with history behind him and some World Class skills....
I take nothing from Vic I'm a fan cause like you I like that hes willing to trade and fight thats good by me and I would fwocken love him IF he can get Pongsaklek "I will ONLY fight people literally in my back yard and they need to have a total of 10 fights no more in order to fight me" Wongjonkam
to fight him and then kick his mutha f*cken WBC piece of sh*t belt ass....

Sweet bro, I think Vic has to move up though no one at 112 wants to fight him! I also would love him to fight Wonjongkam & win that Ring championship but it ain't happening.

As for Pacheco he was to inactive for my liking but fought some good dudes: Ruiz, Kelly, Montiel, Makepula & Pena. IMO he beat Gonzalez next as well!

I take nothing away from Marquez cause he's one of those guys who always fights top competition, I think out of his last 12 opponents 11 have been ranked in the Rings top 10. But theres still a question mark on the chin for me!

Fair play on the Marquez chin question you got.....
I mean he might be a 'Tito' where he can't take a punch but yet stands back up and wins a fight.....
I mean when I saw him hit the canvas on Sat. I could not belive it I mean I belived it cause it happened but it was strange to look at the ring and see him picking himself up and the looking at the corner and seeing Beristein signal at him 'Hands up and throw punches back"....
But I guess we'll be able to see how his chin fairs here at Super Bantam....

Bro Marquez getting up from that Vasquez shot was mean!!! I though he was gone...

Caballero is the fight for Marquez @ 122, but I'd love to see Marquez - De Leon!!!

I think it's safe to say we wan't to see Marquez vs. Anyone from 122 and possibly a try at 126.

Mosley vs Mayweather - This is the real biggest fight out there . Mosley has found his form once again and is THE threat . Mayweather still hasnt competed at this elite level yet but never will he get a better chance to prove himself

Calzaghe vs Hopkins - Hopkins is looking for the right challenge out there but he should look no further than the longest reigning boxing champ . Joe so badly needs this fight . It will get him motivated , we'd finally see what Hopkins has against a bigger guy with ambition

If any of these fights happen i'll be happy but if only 1 happens i'd be pleasantly surprised .
Good list.Although I would rather Hatton fought FM.
