I heard a few of Buddens tracks but found nothing special (call me crazy)
Even veteran rappers like Jay-Z, Diddy (if you consider him), Nelly, Fat Joe, Ja Rule..... They have 1 or 2 good songs but thats about it I;m looking for a really good ALBUM full album and I ain't seen one since (aside from the more Hip-Hop ones from Common or Talib)
Probably Kanyes album has been the best since now that I think about it....

You probably heard the only stuff that has gotten any airtime of Budden's, and that's the stuff from his album. It's the club stuff and it's good for the club but if you want a couple must haves from the mixtape to see what I'm talking about

All 3 should be readily available on the internet and I guarantee you you won't regret listening to any of them. ESPECIALLY the first 2. If you don't then tell me but I think you'll be in for a huge shock. The first is the best piece of storytelling in hip hop history possibly. Honestly....you would be doing yourself a favor in picking it up. I emphasized that one because of the focus on lyrics. It's awesome man I promise you won't be disappointed.

He had a drug problem and it came to a head when he almost died in a car crash. But he's back and ?uestlove said the new album is almost done about a month ago.

I read what I posted below on Rolling Stone about 2 months ago, or maybe it was longer then that...

He ain't passed last I read on Rolling Stone about 2 months agon he was gonna serve some hard time for possesion of Drugs (Cocaine) a large amount apparently but I didn't follow up on it or haven't heard anything since....

Yeah he did rehab for that and I'm not sure if the charges were dropped or what happened? But he's on the Snoop Dogg track Imagine and he's in studio. I tried to find the ?uestlove interview, it came from Okayplayer.com but I just don't know what piece of his it was.

Kick ass m'lord. Saw them live in '75, these vids have good audio & video quality. only thing is, Going to California video brings up The Ocean instead. Wouldn't mind seeing Going to California, it sort of has sentimental value.

One of the best live artist ever here. K-OS plays piano, guitar and raps on stage and his shows are said to be some of the best. I had my heart set on going to a show of his in San Francisco but it's 18 and over So hopefully he performs at Rock the Bells. North of the border music. He put out an album Joyful Rebellion in 2004 that I should have mentioned earlier. Awesome album.

This however is from his newest album Atlantis: Hymns for Disco. Haven't heard anything past the two singles, this being one of them.
