heres a peice of advice man, if you wanna train in boxing to lose a few pounds and to learn the technique, do it man, there aint nothin wrong with being overweight while learning how to fight, it'll make you quicker when you drop the extra pounds, so i say do it, and once you start..you won't even worry about the weight, you'll be too focused on actually training and learning that you won't even notice the pounds being lost.
