Winky spent 15 years as a lightmiddleweight. If it was such an acttractive fight why didn't it happen at middle back then?

And Hopkins may of not ruled out the heavies but as soon as he realised no-one gives a shit about him fighting Maskaev, and he wont be making no delusional 15 million quid, thats when the Calzaghes, Roys and Winkys got a mention.

It's just different horses for different courses, I guess. I have no problem with the fight. If people want to fork-out for it cause they think it's intriguing and competitive then fine. I just see it as boringly predictable. A safe payday.
