Lets see...Miranda gets knocked down by a zombie like Green but he will have no problems beating Taylor?! I have nothing against Miranda...he has relentless style and is a big puncher. But he is still unpolished. He needs to continue to develop before some people think he will simply knockout and beat anyone he fights. I will admit...Taylor has lost his way in recent fights. He has to some extent abandoned his jab and seems to be trying to find a style for himself. But the man is a great athlete and boxer. He has faced Hopkins and Wright...and Ouma is a scrappy, tough fighter. It's not easy to look fantastic against those guys.

    Miranda is hot !

I like Taylor though , but is he a lazy fuker ?

He seems to be one of the most natural punchers in the game i love the way he punches doesnt load up he just shells you . His lazy right hand is just beautifull the way he popped Winkys head back .

He is a counter puncher when Winky forced the fight ( uncharecteristicly ) he was getting countered and hurt badly i remember thinking if Taylor steps on the gas now he will win it !!

Against Ouma i thought much the same he generates so much power with out a great deal of movement in his legs of body if he had grapsed the fight in the way a Mirinda would have he'd have stopped Kassim Ouma in 6.

Mirinda is sometimes very open but there is a difference he can hurt you from the outside and he has power and handspeedhe'd give Jermain Taylor trouble no doubt !

If i had to put my house on it id say Taylor has the power and Skill to open EM up but EM has the will and the guts and drive to make it his fight .

Alot to weigh up EM business and Power coming at you for 12 against Taylors big right and clever skills .

Hmm motivation is Taylor in love with the sport ?

Miranda is good but he is not on the level of JT. JT is well more than battle tested. He is a big strong middleweight who will test the chin of anyone. Miranda can not be getting hit by Taylor the way he was from Green, that is whenever Green decided to throw. Miranda is winning against 2nd and 3rd tier fighters. But his sloppiness will defeat him when he steps up to the 1st tier fighters. You have to have more than just power against the top class boxers. He is really still very raw in technique. Besides, Miranda's power is not some overwhelming one punch power. He throws a lot of loaded rights that Green saw coming way too many times. He should've gotten Green out of there before the championships rounds. Green's chin is more suspect than a fugitive. Miranda needs to be able to mix it up with a better variety of punches and not just come straight line in. He is asking to getting knocked on his way in and that would not be good against a big puncher. I wish Miranda well and am glad he beat Green, who is an arrogant done nothing spectacular yet loud mouth, but I wish he would've been able to land more solid shots.

Dude did u watch the Ouma fight? Taylor LIT him up. I gave Ouma props for staying on his feet, thats it. Like was said before, the guy just throws non stop non power punches so of course he connects, JT was probly willin to walk through a few to get to him to land some of the big fuckin punches that he whalloped off of Kasim's head. I forgot why they call him Bad Intentions till I saw that fight. Fuck, that is really a bad example of how JT is a lacking fighter. I think he would pick Miranda apart at this point and wouldnt let him get to him with the jab and the straight right just blasting the columbian's head apart till he finally fell. U saw how Green connected with several clean shots and hurt him. Miranda has no defense and has to load for his big shots meaning standing in one place for Jermaine Taylor's "bad intentions" to rain down on him. Edison is exciting and it would be cool to see it happen cuz im sure it would be an exciting fight. but M.E. is in no way ready yet defensively for a Jermaine Taylor. it would not even be close.

Well, even though people say Green fought a scared fight, Miranda's face sure didnt look like it.

Exactly. And Green did fight a scared fight don't get me wrong... But every time he decided to throw even a half ass little jab, it would connect on Miranda. THe guy is wayyy to wide open at this point.. And if Miranda showed reluctancy to bully his way inside and unload on Green, why would he be so eager to do this against Taylor?? Especially after tasting his shots..

I think it would be a great fight. JT is better technically but he still backs straight up and his defence isn't all that great,he makes quiet a few errors, but has been able to get away with them against a smaller Winky and Ouma and an older B Hop,whereas with someone young and strong like Pantera,he would not be able to get out of tight spots by using just his sheer brute force.
Miranda is very very raw but his power in either hand is awesome. Miranda's also good with his right as a counter punch which could be useful v JT. I don't know about koing JT and Taylor would be a favourite but Pantera would DEFINITELY be a challenge.

To say that he could get away with backing straight up againsta smaller Winky, and an older Bhop, is selling them both a bit short, don't you think? Makes it sound like you think Mirandas a better fighter than either of them. He isn't, he'd lose to both, or at least in the case of Hopkins would have lost to the BHop that fought Taylor. How did Allan Green "get away" with backing straight up against Miranda for the entire fight He barely threw anything most rounds, and Miranda did little to close the distance or impose himself, instead he just won the rights barely by throwing a few more straight right hands than Green did jabs.. Don't think you understand how much more effective Winky is at applying pressure and staying covered at the same time than Miranda.... It's not even close. Winky would absolutely school Pantera, it would be a mismatch. Like someone else said, I think the shots Taylor landed on both Winky and Ouma would hurt Miranda badly, and Taylor would have alot more room to throw his best punches, seeing how Miranda sat on the outside so often against Green seemingly reluctant to be hit by the jab. Im not saying Miranda isn't a good, exciting fighter, but I think he's being overrated quite a bit on this board in terms of his ability to box. He's very open.

How is that selling them short? JT was younger, bigger and stronger than B Hop at that stage in career and he was much bigger than both Ouma and Winky, think you need to re read that there! B Hop didn't throw anything,(and he kept going on and on and on about JT's technical fallacies),Winky would come forward, but get pushed back easily and Ouma just took the punches without landing his own. Pantera is a mixture. He will get hit but he'll also land on JT too.Mirandas is not a better fighter than the aforementioned, but he is certainly bigger and stronger and hits harder than any of them, easily. And Miranda would have a different mindset v Taylor than he did v Green and it's not as if JT will be reluctant to fight back.

Like I said,JT would be favourite but Miranda would give him something different to deal with,an equaliser, that awesome power.JT has not faced anything like it thus far.
