Unbeaten WBA flyweight champ Lorenzo Parra (27-0, 17 KOs), Venezuela, arrived in Tokyo on Saturday via Paris due to his lack of US transit visa in preparation for his third encounter with Japan's Takefumi Sakata (29-4-1, 14 KOs) at the Korakuen Hall on March 19.
t is their third encounter as Parra scored a couple of hairline majority decisions over Sakata here in June 2004 and in September 2005. Sakata also failed to win the WBA interim belt, losing a debatable split duke to Roberto Vazquez in Paris last December. Sakata, a year his junior at 28, is expected to fulfill his dream in his fourth crack at the WBA 112-pound throne.

THIS IS A REAL WARRIOR(PARRA)Does not open his mouth unnecessarily,fights people in their own backyards,very good fighters,and wins. His resume is getting better and better. Probably P4P number 1 underrated boxer.
I like Parra & think he's competitive with all the top guys @ 112, I think the best fighter on his record (Morel) he caught at the right time though, Morel became shot overnight.
