Agreed , I think Barrera wins tooOriginally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Could be a close call on the cards though if its a tactical affair . I think Barreras got alot more left in the tank than people give him credit for . Its a Mexican rival in the opposite corner and its a fight that will make his legacy. The Juarez rematch he wanted to box to make a point , here , he is ready for a war and the intensity will be back . His focus which was lacking in the Juarez 1 and the Pac fight will definatley show in this fight . He hasnt had his training interupted . He hasnt had to come down in weight after preparing for another opponent . This time Barrera has been training for Marquez and has done everything right so expect the best from him , yet again proving all the people that doubt him , wrong .
Marquez has it all to prove . He has been trying to be more assertive recently and he intends to bring the fight to Barrera which will play right into Marcos hands. We know Marco has been training for speed and his quicker hands could be what seperates them. In a battle of the jabs Marco is a converted southpaw so he'll have more power and snap in his left hands . Up close on the inside I see Marco getting the upperhand there too as his body punching and combinations are superior. Marquez to win has to establish his rythm and be quick out the blocks. On paper theres nothing to suggest that Marquez can beat a name like Barrera . He has never won a superfight in his life but Mraco has been winning them for years. However if the right Marquez turns up he is good enough to make it a tough hard fight . I just dont think he has Barreras warrior spirit or fire and if he did, we would have seen it by now .
